Getting Started with Avanti

Welcome! We are glad you have joined our team.

1) Avanti Account

We use Avanti as our payroll and HR system. In the Avanti system you can:

• Check your vacation balance
• Download password-free pay stubs
• Change your employee information (address, phone number, email, and tax documents)

To access your account please go here: https://auth.myavanti.ca/Login?client=calmwatergroup&b=true.

The first time you try to access it, you will click on [Forgot Your Password?], then use your email address as your username/email. After resetting your password, you will be able to access your account:

2) Payroll

You are paid every 2 weeks on Thursday. Your first pay period is from Sunday, MonDD, to Saturday, MonDD, and your first pay will be on Thursday, MonDD.

Your pay statement will be sent to you from Quolus@MyAvanti.ca with the subject: Pay Statement for [Your Name] period ending DD-Mmm-YYYY

The default password to open your paystub is the 9 digits of your SIN (social insurance number).

 

3) Employee Extended Health & Dental Benefits

There is a 3-month waiting period before you can sign up for our industry-leading employee benefits. You will receive an email roughly 2 weeks before your 3-month anniversary with the full information on the program and instructions for how to enroll.

 

4) Sick Pay

A reminder that you are only eligible for paid sick days after 90 days of employment. You can find more information on the BC Employment Standards here: BC ESA – sick pay

 

5) Stat Holiday Pay

A reminder that you are only eligible for statutory holiday pay A) after completing 30 days of employment and B) you must have worked 15 of the 30 days before the stat holiday. You can find more information on the BC Employment Standards here: BC ESA – stat holidays
