Horizon is currently seeking:
An individual experienced in the construction industry with the right background to lead our teams and to expand our business operations and customer base in Calgary and beyond.
This role is a unique opportunity for a driven individual to build your own book of business while being supported by an established company with strong operations, recruiting, payroll, administration, safety, and leadership behind you.
If you’ve built strong relationships in residential construction and want the freedom to grow an office without the burden of handling everything alone, we want to talk to you.
What you’ll be doing
- Develop and maintain relationships with residential builders, site supervisors, and project managers
- Coordinate labour supply staffing for active construction sites
- Manage field employees and workforce scheduling
- Support client site needs by resolving issues and assisting in workforce planning
- Conduct site visits to maintain strong employee and on-site client relationships
- Source top talent to meet labour demands
- Grow and develop new business opportunities
- Help build and strengthen the company’s presence in Alberta
- Maintain our culture of safety including ensuring safety compliance and understanding
- Provide mentorship, in collaboration with HR, to support employee development

What We’re Looking For
- Experience in residential construction
- Labour supply or staffing experience an asset
- Experience supervising a team
- Strong knowledge of all phases of residential construction projects
- Existing industry relationships are a major asset
- Strong communication and leadership skills

- Ability to manage multiple sites and priorities Self-motivated with a business-growth mentality
