Duties & Responsibilities
Primary
Loading & unloading: material handling, allocation & identification.
Clean up: sweeping & shovelling, material identification, demolition; coordination, organization.
Tool use: heavy tools, hand tools, ladders; power tools, scaffolding.
Machinery: swamping; gas tools, tampers, spotting, pumps & hoses.
Groundwork: grading, digging, levelling & soil transport.
Concrete: preparation, mixing, placement, chipping, drilling.
Additional
Other duties as assigned by site or Company leadership, including cleaning & tidying.
Follow all site and Company standards.
Attend toolbox talks & read monthly JOHS minutes.
Maintain field hazard awareness and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in good order.
Qualifications & Requirements
Physically fit for manual labour.
1 years of construction experience.
Basics of construction phases (BCCSA – SiteReady).
Skills & Knowledge
Basic power tool aptitude.
Tools & Equipment Required
Employee-provided
Hard hat
CSA-approved steel-toed boots
Hand tools: hammer, nail puller
Equipment : pouch, work gloves

Safety vest
Respirator (if applicable)
