Quolus Construction Services is an industry-leading construction workforce supplier. We are B.C. owned and operated since 1993, focused on large multi-residential projects spanning the Lower Mainland.

Quolus Construction is currently seeking Lane Technicians / TCPs (Traffic Control Persons) to read and interpret traffic control plans, lead crews, and manage safe traffic flow on active construction sites. This role involves coordinating work zones, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and managing traffic control setups.


Core Duties

  • Traffic Control: Direct traffic in and around construction sites in accordance with traffic control plans.
  • Coordination: Work with and support the TCP team to maintain safe and efficient traffic flow.
  • Planning: Develop and clearly explain traffic control plans to crews and stakeholders.
  • Setup & Removal: Set up and take down traffic control equipment.
  • Site Support: Facilitate safe and efficient deliveries to site.
  • Communication: Communicate clearly and calmly with the public, drivers, delivery personnel, and site teams.
  • Leadership: Lead TCP teams as required.

Other Potential Specialty Duties

  • Lane Technician: Perform Lane Technician duties and responsibilities as required.

Job Requirements

  • Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods.
  • Intermediate verbal English.
  • Minimum 2 years of TCP experience on construction sites.
  • Experience with higher-density projects is considered an asset.
  • BCCSA-accredited TCP certification.
  • WHMIS certification.
  • Lane Control Technician certification.
  • Ability to commit to full-time employment.
  • Must have own tools and reliable transportation to and from job sites.
  • Must own and maintain standard PPE.
