Calmwater Services is currently seeking a motivated and team-oriented HR Administrator. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow and develop as an HR professional within a supportive and fast-paced environment.

You will be part of a competent three-person team and will have opportunities to contribute to projects and key HR initiatives while gaining valuable experience across multiple functions.


The Candidate

The ideal candidate has a positive attitude, works well independently, and maintains strict confidentiality. You bring some HR experience, though strong administrative professionals ready to learn and grow are also encouraged to apply.

  • Onboarding and offboarding

  • Benefits administration
  • HRIS management and data administration
  • Event coordination

Job Requirements

  • Strong computer proficiency
  • Experience with HRIS systems
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Diploma in Business preferred (or equivalent experience)
  • Business-level verbal and written English
  • Basic understanding of BC employment standards
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent customer service abilities
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • High level of discretion with confidential information

Assets

  • Experience in the construction industry
  • Experience with benefits administration

Work Environment

This role operates on a hybrid basis, with one day working from home and four days in-office.

Our current head office is located in Delta (7228 Progress Way). We will be relocating to South Vancouver (8250 Manitoba Street) in September.
