Quolus Construction Services is an industry-leading construction workforce supplier. We are B.C. owned and operated since 1993, focused on large multi-residential projects spanning the Lower Mainland.
Quolus Construction is currently seeking Skilled Carpenters with at least 3 years of hands-on experience, specifically within multi-residential construction (townhomes, wood-frame, or high-rise).
Core Duties
- Tools & Equipment: Use of hammers, nailers, tape measures, squares, power tools, lasers, and laser levels.
- Materials: Identify material types, cut and shape, join and install, and perform material take-offs.
- Framing: Construct rough openings, beams and headers, joists and point loads, frame checks, and back-framing.
- Concrete Forms: Basic layout and forming.
- General Carpentry: Install doors and frames, windows, moldings, and hardware; perform steel stud adaptation.
Other Potential Specialty Duties
- Steel Stud: Framing, back framing, and reinforcing.
- Specialized Tools: Use of snips, drills, grinders, and powder-actuated tools.
- Equipment Operation: Operate man-booms as required.
Job Requirements
- Physically fit for manual labour.
- Minimum 3 years of carpentry experience.
- Intermediate verbal English.
- Completion of a 3-year apprenticeship program or equivalent field experience.
- Ability to commit to full-time employment.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Must own and maintain appropriate PPE.
- Must own basic carpentry tools and equipment.
